This challenge is all about the feels… feel-good movement that’s good for the mind and body. It’s been a crazy 18 months (thanks COVID) and with the world opening up and all of us returning to our busy schedules, it’s important more than ever for us to practice self-love and prioritise our well-being. Pilates is not only great for strengthening your muscles, increasing your flexibility and coordination, but it is also just as great for the mind. With a focus on mind-body connection and breathing, it can help to reduce stress and anxiety. Let’s move together and get those endorphins flowing.

When does the challenge start?
It will be kicking off Monday 8th November and run for 4 weeks, finishing on Sunday 5th December… just in time for all the end-of-year celebrations.
What do I need for the challenge?
Just yourself, a mat (if you have one), if not, don’t stress, a towel will do, a space in your home, and a device to be able to watch the classes.
There will be classes where we will use props such as dumbbells (easily substituted with canned chickpeas/tomatoes, water bottles or even wine bottles), resistance bands (completely optional), ankle/wrist weights, pillows, chairs… the list is endless but these are always optional or can be substituted for something around the house.
How long is each class?
Each class runs for around 45minutes.
What if I wanted to buy some additional props? Where would you recommend I purchase these?
For my Australian clients, I recommend checking out Kmart. They have heaps of Pilates equipment at really reasonable prices.
For my Irish clients, I would try places like Dunns, MrPrice, or McSport.
What if I can’t make the live classes?
That’s totally OK! I’ll be running 3 live classes each week, if you are unable to attend these, a link to the recording will be emailed out to you after each class. The 4th class will also be emailed out to you Thursday each week for you to do over the weekend.
Is there a way I can track myself to help keep me accountable?
Accountability solely lies with you, I’m not going to be chasing you if you haven’t done the classes, this challenge is all about the feels and is meant to be a positive experience, so if you aren’t feeling it, that’s totally OK.
However, if you would like to keep track, we will be sharing an accountability tracker on our Instagram for you to add emoji’s (based on how you felt after the class) to keep track of your progress over the 4 weeks… you may even want to share this on your own socials and tag us @jameemaree.pilates
How much is the challenge?
$35AUD (approx. €23EURO) a week for 4 weeks or if you pay in full you get a $20AUD discount, bringing the total price to $120 (approx. €78EURO).
