Movement for Life's Journey.

Odyssey Pilates is a dynamic, boutique Reformer Pilates studio with locations in Kilkenny and Waterford.

Founded by Jamee-Maree Lewis, Odyssey began with a simple idea: to create a space where people could move, get stronger and feel good — through purposeful movement, expert instruction and a genuinely personal experience.

Today, that same philosophy remains at the heart of everything we do.

Small groups. Purposeful movement. Personal connection.

OUR ODYSSEY

2022 — Where it started

Odyssey began in Kilkenny with just two Reformers and Jamee teaching every class. What started small quickly grew into a community of people who shared a love of movement and feeling strong.

2023 — Growing our team

As our community grew, so did Odyssey. We welcomed our first instructor to the team and continued to expand our class offering.

2025 — A new chapter

We moved into our current Kilkenny studio and, just a few months later, opened the doors to our second studio in Waterford.

TODAY

Two studios. A growing team of passionate and fully qualified instructors. Hundreds of clients moving with us every week.

We've grown — but we've deliberately kept our classes small.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Pilates should meet you where you're at — and give you somewhere to go.

Our approach to Reformer Pilates is dynamic, purposeful and progressive. We combine strength, control and endurance to create energising, full-body classes designed to challenge you and leave you feeling strong and good.

From your first Beginner class through to our most advanced level, our instructors are there to guide, support and challenge you along the way.

Move. Get stronger. Feel good.

SMALL BY DESIGN

Just 5–6 clients per class.

As Odyssey has grown, we've deliberately kept our classes small.

It means our instructors have the space to get to know you, notice your movement, offer individual guidance and help you progress — while still creating the energy and atmosphere of a group class.

Because we believe great Reformer Pilates should feel personal.

Meet Our Instructors

  • Jamee

    Founder & Owner | Mat, Reformer + Pre & Post-Natal Pilates Instructor

Originally from Newcastle, Australia, Jamee-Maree founded Odyssey Pilates in Kilkenny in 2022 after swapping a 15-year career in HR for her passion for movement and Pilates.

With a background in CrossFit and strength training, Jamee was drawn to the way Reformer Pilates combines strength, control and movement — and to how adaptable it can be for every stage of life. What began with just two Reformers and Jamee teaching every class has since grown into two studios and an incredible team of instructors.

Her teaching style reflects the philosophy behind Odyssey: dynamic, purposeful and challenging, with a strong focus on helping clients build confidence and progress their practice.

As a mum of two boys, Jamee is particularly passionate about creating movement that supports people through all of life's different stages.

Expect: strong, dynamic flows, thoughtful sequencing and probably a lunge or two. 🌶️

  • Michelle

Lead Instructor — Kilkenny | Mat + Reformer Pilates Instructor

Michelle first discovered Reformer Pilates while living in the US and quickly fell in love with the combination of strength, control and movement it offered.

After returning to Ireland, she took her passion for Pilates further, completing her Mat Pilates training with Reformation and her Reformer Pilates qualification through YogaHub in Dublin.

As Lead Instructor in our Kilkenny studio, Michelle brings a supportive and attentive approach to every class. She loves helping clients build confidence in their movement while encouraging them to challenge themselves and progress their practice.

Michelle's warm teaching style and thoughtful programming make her classes welcoming while still delivering that signature Odyssey challenge.

Expect: plenty of encouragement, purposeful programming and a seriously spicy lower-body sequence. 🌶️

  • Amelia

Lead Instructor — Waterford | Reformer Pilates Instructor

With a lifelong background in movement, Amelia brings a wealth of experience and creativity to her classes at Odyssey.

Her love of movement began with dance, before expanding into yoga and Pilates. That experience has shaped her teaching style, with a strong appreciation for control, mobility and the connection between how we move and how we feel.

As Lead Instructor in our Waterford studio, Amelia is passionate about creating classes that are challenging, engaging and accessible, encouraging clients to explore what their bodies are capable of while moving with intention.

Her calm, supportive approach combined with creative programming makes her classes the perfect balance of focus and challenge.

Expect: creative flows, considered movement and plenty of opportunities to challenge yourself.

  • Etain

Mat, Reformer + Barre Pilates Instructor

Etain has been part of Odyssey since 2023 and holds a particularly special place in our story as the very first instructor to join Jamee and the Odyssey team.

With a long-standing love of movement and Pilates, Etain decided to take her passion one step further by completing her training in Mat, Reformer and Barre Pilates. Since joining Odyssey, she has continued to develop her knowledge and experience as an instructor and has become a much-loved part of our studio community.

Etain brings warmth, energy and plenty of personality to every class. She loves creating strong, feel-good flows that challenge clients while helping them build confidence in their movement.

Expect: great energy, a strong full-body flow and plenty of encouragement along the way.

  • Donna

Mat, Reformer + Barre Pilates Instructor

Donna's love of movement and fitness led her to Reformer Pilates, where she quickly discovered a passion for the combination of strength, control and challenge it provides.

Since joining the Odyssey team, Donna has become known for bringing energy, encouragement and plenty of challenge to her classes. She loves helping clients discover just how strong they are and creating sessions that leave you feeling like you've worked hard while still enjoying every minute.

Her classes reflect Odyssey's dynamic approach to Reformer Pilates, combining purposeful movement with thoughtful progressions so clients can work at the level that's right for them.

Expect: energy, encouragement and, if you know Donna, you already know — lunges. She's our resident Lunge Queen for a reason. 👑

  • Sophie

    Reformer & Mat Pilates Instructor

Sophie brings a warm, positive energy to Odyssey and a genuine passion for helping people feel stronger and more confident through movement.

Her approach to teaching is supportive and encouraging, creating an environment where clients feel comfortable challenging themselves while working at a level that feels right for their body.

Sophie loves the versatility of the Reformer and the endless opportunities it provides to build strength, control and confidence. Whether you're relatively new to Pilates or an experienced client, she aims to make every class feel welcoming, purposeful and enjoyable.

Expect: positive energy, plenty of encouragement and a feel-good full-body challenge.
